I thought I’d give you a journal template that you can put down all of your feelings as you start to declutter your life.
This is important because you want to remember just how far you’ve come at the end of each week, month and maybe even year.
When we start something new it is always difficult to realise the changes you are making. It is also hard to keep up the momentum but if you have a record of what you keep achieving and feeling each time you do some decluttering, I promise you that it will get so much easier.
I always feel a sense of relief and even freedom when I let go of things that I don’t use. Over the years ebay has been a very good friend to me. I love to make a bit of cash as a reward for letting go of an item!
Anyway less about me haha – just what am I asking you to write down?
I’m only asking for answers to 4 simple questions:
Today was a good day for me because…
I was excited to…
I got the opportunity to…
I didn’t expect to…
The form is interactive so you are able to edit it directly on your phone, tablet or computer. If you prefer you can print it off!
You can do this exercise if you are decluttering your home or your workplace. Perhaps you are even trying to do both. I wouldn’t advise it though. I believe you need to do one area at a time. Clear it and move on. You will see success faster this way.
I do have weekly skype group that you can join if you sign up for my training course. On this weekly call you will be able to share your thoughts with the group so we can help you through any tough times and also be there for the celebrations.
